Remember that feedback can be “made up” on some sites, so if you’re concerned about this, use a site like eBay or Amazon. Whenever you purchase rings online, it’s also a good idea to make sure the store has an exchange policy that allows you to changes sizes if necessary. Jewelry sizes are standardized very well between jewelers, and while you should normally have no trouble, being backed up by a good returns/exchange policy will ensure you don’t waste your money.
Finally, another option is simply to jump on to somewhere like amazon, and buy yourselves some plain gold or silver bands, and have them engraved with a message that is meaningful to both of you. Sometimes the jeweler you purchase from will do the engraving, but you should also be able to find plenty of local engravers who will also engrave your special message either on the inside or on the outside of the band.
